Founded in 2021, Read & Run Tours’s book-themed programming is a chance for local organizers to events inspired by books written by local authors to deepen their connection to their homes, all while supporting local libraries, independent bookstores, and other small businesses.

Read & Run Tour's first city chapter is in Chicago. Starting in late 2025, you’ll be able to apply to start your own chapter. Until then, get inspired by Read & Run Chicago and contact Allison Yates to apply to host a pop-up running event inspired by a book set where you live.
